The Might Sea Cucumber The Mighty Sea Cucumber

Behold! The mighty sea cucumber!
It waits, and waits, and watches
It sees, and broods, and hates
It sits on slimy haunches
When it ensnares a victim
It eats and eats and vomits
It stalks the creeping ocean depths
It wallows in the marshes
A conquering, evil rainbow worm
It ventures forth to find you
It sees you where you sleep at night
O woe and death betide you!
Pickled Brain Pickled Brain

Four lobes, four delicious lovely lobes of throbbing grey matter
So much stiffer than one would imagine
Coming apart like a vegetable, like cauliflower
But still soft and pungent and sweet as a tomato.
Next comes the thalamus, sweet and sour
A firm little bit with a soft inside
Then the squishy, bitter pituitary
(Which can be flavored with lemon)
Now the corpus callosum
Chewy and indigestible
But strangely buttery
Finally the medulla, stringy
Tending to stick in the teeth
So many tasty bits and tender pieces
Meninges that melt in the mouth
Like cotton candy
The optic nerve
Which slurps like spaghetti
Finished

I tend to avoid this style of art. I find it hard to take rainbow pony unicorns very seriously and when I DO draw them it's usually some kind of parody.

But I had this image in my head, this adorable little image... and I HAD TO.

He didn't take long to whip up. I drew him while waiting for a bigger art project to dry.

How a he manages to survive the frozen vacuum of space without freezing to death or having his innards leak out his orifices due to immense internal pressure, I have no idea.

This picture, like my last unicorn, is for sale if anyone wants it. This one is $20. Sold! :la: If you'd like a similar item though, note me for specifics and I can work out a commission price.

This is awesome! Why has no one commented yet!? I also wondered how his eye balls are not inflating and exploding into space with that hole for his horn open.. but that must be the power of unicorns.
