I do go to church sometimes but it has a tendency to make me mad when I do. I find that pastors like to use their positions of authority to hold political sway, and issues like human rights are trampled on in the name of preserving the political power of the church.

The doctrine of "love your neighbor" is sound but that's not what these churches are preaching. More often than not it's more a matter of money and political gain than it is of actually following the doctrine and helping other people.

The pastors and church leaders responsible for this make me very upset. They're preaching love and spreading hate. They're nothing but wolves in sheep's clothing.
