Death's Head cougar fang

This cougar fang pendant is about 2.25 inches long and has been etched with a skull motif. Rather appropriate, considering this big canine tooth was the cause of death of many a deer or woodland creature before the cat itself was taken down. Fang is in good shape, no cracks or chips and is quite sharp (I accidentally hurt myself with it trying to hold it in my palm to wax it, so it's still very much in good shape)

This photo shows the fang before the pendant finding was added, the finding is pewter and is attached to the back of the fang with sturdy epoxy. I was leery about drilling a hole in it as I didn't want to compromise the structural integrity of the tooth or cause a crack. There is a small opening in the root end of the tooth.
