One such idea, was that a bunch of people should get together and create a bunch of Garfield art and mail it to Jim Davis, the creator of the strip, to see how he would respond.
Needless to say I was all over that shit like a fat kid on a sundae.
Here's my contribution to this amazing idea. I can't wait to see how/if he'll respond. Please don't have me arrested/sued Mr. Davis it's supposed to be funny.
I've always found parodies of Garfield to be amusing. This is no exception.
It's really effective how you portrayed Garfield. After eating as much as he does and being around for a couple of decades, surely no other cat would look any better. I think you really have done a great job at putrifying this beloved character, as well as showing his iconic distaste for Mondays.
I also think it's interesting how you depicted Garfield's hapless owner, John. Through out the years, Garfield has done nothing but work his owner (literally in this case) to the bone to sustain his gargantuan appetite. It's a very fitting end though.
