This is one of my more ambitious leather cuff pieces. It's made the same as the others with the metal rivet snap buttons, but this one has had more paint work done to it. The leather was recycled from leftover scraps from a leather company, dyed black with India ink and then the mountains and northern lights were painted with acrylics and sealed with a clear fixative to ensure a long life. Although the spray and the paints used are waterproof, I suggest trying not to get this wet as excessive dampness could damage the image.

I've seen them a couple times, usually we're too far south to get much of them but if there's a good deal of solar activity then we sometimes get a glimpse of them. I've only really seen them here twice, they're actually pretty spooky.
