Kanato's "flawed" mounts are better than some peoples best mounts. You can't really find anything the matter with her unless you hold her and inspect closely and even then it's all very minor stuff easy to overlook in the face of how beautiful the fox is.
Very strong color selections in this one. Such a warm, golden glow from everything; it really brings the life in the dead things! Even the gradient of the wall gives surprising good lighting. You definitely made good use out of the natural coloring of the fox and your "storybook blonde" hair (when someone can pull off the nature-sprig hairdo, they are definitely "storybook blonde")
Thanks. My kitchen lighting turned out to be fairly versatile for photography despite being artificial light in an oatmeal colored room. Ideally pictures like this one would be taken outside, but in this weather, that dress is a death sentence. Hell, it was almost a death sentence by itself. It's a very very old dress and is about two sizes too small.
I honestly could not read that last sentence without immediately and automatically going into Dr. Seuss narration mode. The human brain is a fascinating thing.
And it's a lovely dress, so it was worth the risk. Just toss in some hidden life & death nature meaning with the stuffed fox and Persephone tale or some other sentimental drivel-poop and you have your artistic justification. Also, that fox does look comfortably warm. She seems quite handy. Sort of a more classical-looking warmth garment than the Snuggy cultist robes.
