Snowshoe Hare soft-mount by CindarellaPop Snowshoe Hare soft-mount by CindarellaPop
This little fella didn't come to me in the best shape. He was a wet-tanned skin that had dried out. The leather was weak but I believed something could be made of him, so I carefully rehydrated him and sewed him back together.

He turned out alright. The leather is still weak, especially around the legs, but he's otherwise in decent shape. I'm considering getting him a little vest and some clothes and turning him into a 'curio' piece, he's already got kind of the 'ugly Victorian taxidermy' vibe going on.

He is for sale, I'm selling him purely to recoup the cost of his pelt. [link]

I don't know why, but I actually really like him xD Have no money though, and all I really have for trade would be a crappy wallhanger lynx. :\

Actually, I'd be really interested in the lynx. I've been eyeing a few wallhanger lynxes for a personal project I've got planned.

Well, this is a pic of him: [link]

Even though it's visible in the pic, theres a large bare spot on his back/flank, and his face isn't the best either. No paws of course.. but otherwise, I guess he's alright.

Just feel bad for the guy sense I've just been keeping him hidden away in a chest, sense I can't figure out anything to do with him.. so I guess if you do want him, he'd end up in a better home at least.

For what I'd want him for, he actually seems perfect (the face would be removed anyways so the eyeholes aren't a problem) but how big are his holes? Is there a serious amount of skin missing to the point where it'd be pointless to sew him?

I don't think I really have anything to trade. Although by the way I got in a white rabbit the other day for you, just pulled it out the tan so it's drying out now if you're still after one?

I'd actually love that, really. Always on the lookout for good rabbits.

Awesome, it's a medium albino (had the red eyes) rabbit, it has the tip of on ear tore quite badly (from the looks of things it happened quite close to it's death as it hasn't fully healed... I'll let you know how the tanning goes ^^
