It's winter in North Dakota, and there are big bad motherfuckin' icicles EVERYWHERE. So naturally me and my photohappy father set off on an epic adventure to catalogue them.
This is one of my favorite shots from that day. Funny story, there was a guy in that alley way all concerned that me and dad were insurance adjusters, taking pics of the ice to drive up premiums.
That's my new cover story for whenever I get stopped while photo hunting.
"I'm an insurance adjustor, and this is NOT up to code. You'll be hearing from my people."
